GERALUZ: Community Circle

Participants will gather and engage in different forms of creation of handmade books. There will be 3 books made by each participant in 3 different binding methods. Each book will have a title: Book 1. "I Love You" Book 2. "I'm Sorry" Book 3. "Thank You." The titles of the books are open, one can write to oneself, or write the book for someone, the book might be shared, or kept in private for the creator. The book can have artwork or writings, this will be left up to the participant. We will explore 3 forms of writing, such as poetry, freestyle and stream of consciousness. There will be examples of the different ways the handmade books can be approached. We will explore 3 forms of art-making for the book, such as drawing & painting & collage.
