BAC Wellness Studio Origins

In BAC’s Wellness Studio Blog, we invite you to share the passion we have for healing arts, and show how you can use featured Brooklyn traditions from our global diasporas to nurture and heal your body, community, and soul.

Today’s feature: BAC Wellness Studio Origins!

BAC’s Wellness Studio began with a simple idea, by BAC’s Dr. Daniela Fifi, Ed., Cultural Heritage Researcher & Community Liaison Consultant, and Desiree Gordon, Strategy & Programs Director. They wanted to figure out a way to best share traditions during the long and difficult period of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Using the resources of the BAC and the community relationship networks connected to the rich traditions of Brooklyn, they were able to develop an idea that spread across all mediums.
